Cozy warmth from the walls
Wall heating is one of the best solutions for refurbishment and new construction projects. As is the case with radiator heating, a thermal heating system (central heating) or a heat pump supplies the warmth for the wall-enclosed heating elements. Radiators have the disadvantage that they mainly warm the air which has to circulate in the room, and this reduces the comfort level of people inside the room.
Wall heating on the other hand radiates heat from all surfaces which surround the room. Warmth from the heated walls creates a pleasant climate in the room as radiant heat warms the body from all sides. Radiant heating does not cause air and dust to circulate. The lack of dust in the air has a soothing effect on the respiratory tract, and this is something which allergy suffers will appreciate.
The advantages are not limited to comfort. Wall heating also uses less energy than radiators. People in a room with wall heating feel just as warm even when the temperature is 2°C to 3°C lower than usual. This is good news for energy conscious consumers.
