cuprotherm CTX
The CTX tube is a copper tube with reduced weight and covered with an adherent coating. The joining technology is based on an open system allowing the installer to choose between brass made press-fit fittings from different manufacturers approved by Wieland.
Outstanding characteristics
Compared to classical copper tubes the CTX tube is almost 50 % lighter and, therefore, much easier to handle. Due to its adherent sheathing it is easy to bend. The tube may be cut with a cutter instead of a saw. It is deburred and calibrated in one operation.
The joining technology comprises a metal tube in conjunction with a metal fitting. The sealing element is fixed between metal components with precise tolerances, thus ensuring high reliability.
